And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” Likewise, He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. Lk 22:19–20

These are the words of Christ who has given us a commandment to honor his sacrifice for us by doing this. There are blessings associated with obedience and unknown blessings associated with the remembrance and practice of this holy sacrament.

Too many of us have failed to recognize the promise of Christ in regarding this holy service. This message discusses some of the mysterious promises Christ gave in this commonly ignored opportunity for the grace of God to be revealed in our lives.
